After cruising through their first match of the Olympics, the U.S. Women’s National Team’s gold medal defense continues on Saturday with one of the most difficult opponents they will face in Rio.

The USWNT collides with third-ranked France on Saturday in the second of three Group G clashed to open the Olympic games (Saturday, 4 p.m., NBCSN). The match pits USWNT stars Carli Lloyd, Alex Morgan and Hope Solo against French mainstay Amandine Henry, who is a teammate of Meghan Klingenberg, Allie Long, Tobin Heath and Lindsey Horan with the Portland Thorns.

A 2-0 defeat of New Zealand opened the tournament for the USWNT, who enter the games in search of their fourth-straight gold medal. However, France will also be riding high from a 4-0 destruction of Colombia that saw them shoot to the top of Group G in the early going.
